Task-1



The graph show the percentage of films shown in Britain and Australia by origin in 2000 and the cinema attendance between Britain and Australia from 1980 to 2000.

Graph 1 shows the percentage of films shown in Britain and Australia in 2000. The percentage of US films in Britain and Australia were higher than others films and the percentage was 77% in Britain and 68% in Australia. The second highest films were British films and 20% were shown in Britain and 4% in Australia. Australia films were least popular movies and there were none shown in Britain and 10% in Australia. But the others films had 2% in Britain and 15% in Australia. Graph 2 shows the cinema attendance between Britain and Australia from 1980 to 2000. In Australia the cinema attendance fluctuated between 1980 and 1984. From 1984 to 1990 the cinema attendance was stable at 40 millions. From 1990 to 2000 the cinema attendance rose rapidly start from 40 million to 90 million. On the other hand the cinema attendance fluctuated from 1980 to 1990. After that the number rose slightly from 1990 to 2000.

In conclusion, US films are highest shown films in Britain and Australia. The cinema attendance in Britain is better than Australia, and the last number stopped it was 150 million for Britain and 90 million for Australia.
